Snickers was my chocolate lab mix. He was 134 lbs. Quit a lot to hug, The Hugs are gone after only 3 short years of his life. He truly suffered before he had to be put to sleep. a day I will never forget the pain and Sorrow I fealt. And still do. He was my best friend. He never turned on me like people do. He protected and cared about me like no one ever did. and all he asked for was food and shelter and kindness. He was beautiful inside and out. Marie

» click to enlarge « This was our DD dog. She was actually my late wife Pamelas dog and we NEVER thought we would love a little dog like that. But DD dog had her own personality. She loved to go bye byes (in a car for a ride) and always did a happy dance when she got a treat or wanted to go bye byes and she would always lick our tears away and sleep on my pillow right aside of me.She was less than 6lbs and we miss her badly!
Unfortunately I was feeding DD dog that Ol Roy canned tainted dog food Ol Roy tainted dog treat biscuits here in PA!
How could this happen to our animals? And if it can happen to our animals ,believe me folks it can happen to us!
I don't know about all of you but our dogs are our kids!

» click to enlarge «  my little christopher a min pin was my buddy he was a tiny cute smart little dog, i fed him the canned food on several occasions thinking it was good for him to help him gain wt and keep his wt he loved to hunt and dig! and it was always a struggle to maintain his wt because he was so active, anyways i noticted he was acting sick in end of feb and bought more of the tainted food to feed him not knowing it was what was making him sick. he just kept getting worse by the day and yesterday he went to be with jesus, i held him in my arms and the hardest thing ive ever done was to tell him i loved him and that it was ok to go be with jesus and he laid his little head on my shoulder and died. i will miss him forever and feel so bad because he trusted me and ate the food i gave him and now he is dead. i have 3 other min pins they also were sad and they knew something was wrong we had a small funeral for him and placed him in a nice wooden box with his favorite things and said good bye. 2 of my other dogs are his off spring and i am happy for that. ivy his girlfriend, olive (OO) his daughter and petunia his dtr,max his son( also he has many other children that were given to family and friends who love animals) and myself will all saddly miss him .

I have always heard that a dog is man's best friend but I never experienced this until Brutus came in to my life when he was only 6 weeks old. On March 3, 2007, I lost my best friend to Renal Failure. Brutus was a healthy 3 year old AKC registered Boxer. He was perfectly healthy until January 21, 2007. He suddenly started vomiting uncontrollably, drinking massive amounts of water and urinating excessively and losing weight at record speed. He was seen by numerous veterinarians and had the same diagnosis....End stage renal failure....but why?? I knew there was no way possible he had got in to rat poison, antifreeze, etc. He was NEVER out of my sight and ALWAYS on a leash when outdoors. He slept in my bed, ate when I ate, went to work with me, made every step I made....he was my VISA Card...I never left home without him. He was the best companion a person could ever ask for, well trained, very mild mannered, he had a knack for cheering me up with I was depressed and had the best shoulder to cry on. He listened to my every word and never passed judgement on me or held a grudge when I said or did something wrong. I miss him terribly and cry for him daily. The memory of holding him while taking his last breath will forever be present in my life. Just to have another day with him would be so wonderful. I don't know that I will EVER get over losing him so tragically. I am outraged that the food was what caused this and mad at myself for feeding him poisoned food. I am devasted over the loss of my best freind.

Love you sugar!Thank God I still have you! Out of the two chiuhauha's Lola is the one which servived. She is a pickier eater and was slower to eat the tainted food. Pdero Rogers was dead within five days of beoming ill. Lola still continues to recover from her brush with death. The vet was surprised at the fast decline and death of Pedro. He was very sick. Doc said it was end stage renal failure. I am so sorry you did Pedro. Lola and the rest of us miss you. I have your ashes on the table in the dinning room. I say hello to you every day when I get home from work. Meet me at the rainbow bridge when it is my time and we'll go to heaven together.

We love and miss you Pedro! Perdro became noticably ill on Friday the 23rd of February. Our other dog Lola became ill at the same time. They were both vomiting up everthing, drinking water like crazy. Pedro and Lola both declined so quickly that I knew it had to be poison of some sort. I took them both to the vet on Monday and by Wednesday the 28th of February I had to put Pedro down. I am so devistated. Hind sight is twenty-twenty. In December I noticed Pedro and Lola both losing weight so I decided I should increase their food intake. Little did I know this would actually lead to death for Pedro and illness for Lola. The vet confirmed severe renal failure in Pedro and keiney damage in Lola. This was approximately two weeks before the recall. For those two weeks I kept asking myself what I had done so wrong that my dog would die such a horrible death. He was in severe pain, slowly starving to death. His killer, we believe it was the Ol'Roy pouch dog food they had both been eating for over a year!

 Friday April 20, 2007 we had to put down our 8 year old Scottie. Willie never had a sick day in his 8 years. He was gone in a matter of 3 daus. The Vet, like us, thinks his sudden kidney failure was due to poisoned dog food. Willie ate both Mighty Dog & the Delmonte Jerky Treats (both listed). We are devistated. Willie was loved by all who met him, was our best dog ever and our hearts are broken. He'll be missed. What do we need to do to join your class action suit?

» click to enlarge « This was Kitty, happy content and full of life. We will and miss her dearly as we had to lay her to rest on Saurday, April 14, 2007. She was only 7 1/2 years old. She had so much life in her and she did not need to leave this world so soon.

» click to enlarge « I look at my cat and think It could be her next.I am deeply sorry for all of your lost family members. I am horrified and just yesterday my friends pet pit bull mix is at the vets and they already lost a dog to this poisening 
I hope there is some ending to the pet killings. I need a new up date to this list of recalled food both cat and dog
I found out there could be more added.
