Optical Disk Drive Class Action Lawsuit
It was recently disclosed that there is currently a worldwide investigation into violations of antitrust laws and other anti-competitive practices into the market for optical disk drives. According to press reports, the U.S. Department of Justice has requested information from Sony regarding its optical disc drive business in what could be the start of an investigation into the entire industry.
In addition, a class action suit was recently filed naming Sony, along with numerous other optical disk manufacturers as defendants.
