Susanne N. Scovern

Susanne N. Scovern received a B.A. with highest honors and distinction in Russian/East European Studies and Political Philosophy from the University of Michigan in 1985. In 1990, Ms. Scovern was awarded a Juris Doctorate from the University of Iowa where she was a member of the University of Iowa Law Review. Over the years, she has practiced a broad range of product liability, mass tort, class action, employment and commercial litigation. Ms. Scovern is a member of the American Bar Association, the California Bar Association and the San Francisco Bar Association.

She is active in the Science & Technology and Labor and Employment Sections of the ABA and State Bar. She is also a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association. She is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia. Ms. Scovern focuses her work at the firm on defective medical devices and drugs and is currently heavily involved in the prosecution of the firm's Vioxx cases.
